Amistad clinicians are also highly trained in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. We are able to observe and evaluate the emotional, social and developmental needs of children Birth-5. We work closely with parents and caregivers to develop a plan to help young children learn and develop in safe, secure, nurturing relationships. We believe in the importance of strengthening parent-child bonds and provide psychoeducation, parenting classes and clinical interventions when appropriate.
