Camille Cisneroz

Camille Cisneroz PhD, LPCC Dr. Cisneroz, has lived the majority of her life in the Las Cruces area. She graduated with her Bachelors in social work and began her career as a counselor, advocate for Domestic Violence survivors including developing a children's program. While obtaining her Masters degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology she worked as a counselor in the schools developing prevention programs for adolescence and partnering with the DEA. She pursued her Doctorate in Educational Psychology while working with border families in Arizona as a migrant advocate. She then returned to the Las Cruces area working in Early intervention, private practice, spent a year as a shelter director for unaccompanied and undocumented adolescences in Florida, another year as Clinical Director of a detox rehabilitation center in NM. In her work Dr. Cisneroz has always been a proponent of prevention and enjoys working with families in this endeavor. She believes strongly in trauma informed therapy and a holistic approach for growth. She also works with generational trauma to build on prevention. Camille enjoys spending her free time with her grandson, in the outdoors, being creative, road trips, with animals including her own, reading, and with friends and family
